When dropping my children off in the morning I know they’ll have the best day because they’re in
caring and capable hands.
Finley has been at The Ark since he was in the baby room and he has formed really special
relationships with all of the staff, not just his key workers but everyone, including the cook and the cleaners, which shows how lovely and welcoming the whole nursery is. We drop him off every day feeling completely confident that he will be safe, happy and well looked after because we know they all genuinely care for him. He has formed great friendships with other children at nursery too. There are even times he asks if he can go to nursery at the weekend ~ . We will be sad when his time there comes to an end this year. The Ark is an amazing nursery and we couldn’t recommend them more
We have loved having our daughter within your setting. You have all been kind and compassionate and caring and understanding with my daughter.
When she started, it was picked up quickly that she had a development delay, and Kirsty immediately acted on this and began getting things in place to support her.
Katie, Julie, Lauren, Kirsty, Emma have been so kind and amazing with her and so unbelievably patient with not only my daughter but with me and my questions also nothing was ever too much and they all worked as a team and ensured all her referrals were made to the right people and ensured her EHCP is in place ready for the next step in her education and I could not be more pleased and more happy for everything they have done for us.
I would recommend this Nursery to everyone I come in contact with they have been amazing, absolutely fabulous and constantly kept me involved and in the loop and updated us on her progress in school and making friends and what she has been doing and achieving.

We have loved every minute of it.
Both of our girls have accessed the Ark both for holiday clubs and for nursery sessions. The staff have made both of our girls feel loved and welcome. Our eldest is now in school and still talks about the staff that made an impact on her. Our youngest isn’t talking yet but loves to go and see her baby room ladies. You can see she’s loved and cared for. We’ve seen our little one come on in confidence and developmental skills. Really grateful to be able to access such a good nursery with staff that really seem to care and provide a wonderful environment.
Both my children settled into the ark very quickly, and settled in lovely. All there key workers have all been equally amazing ! I’m a VERY anxious parent and every single worker at the nursery always takes there times if I need to talk to them or have any worries etc and reassure me massively! When picking my children up we always get told how there day was, how much dinner they ate, any worries if there ever was any, and what they’ve played with mainly in the day too! when there playing outside you can see them if there still out while you wait for them at pick up time and it’s really nice to see every single teacher interact with all the children wether it’s in a group or one to ones, it’s really lovely too see in person how our children are being interacted with!
Every single nursery worker who’s worked with my child/children is just incredible, both my children come out with big smiles on there faces and tell me about there days and there teachers and it’s always been positive!
Weve had many of the nursery workers as key workers over the last few years and all show how much they genuinely care for the children, they have all played a huge part in teaching my children, showing them love, patience, kindness.
Both my children attend The Ark.
My daughter started when she was 2 years old and she came on leaps and bounds. She’s now 7 and
even though she’s at school she still loves to go the out of school club at The Ark. She can’t speak highly
enough of all the staff.
My son has just started at The Ark with me returning to work after maternity leave. All the staff made
me feel at ease as I felt so nervous leaving him. I asked if I was able to book him in for a few half days
before starting full time to ease him into the change, which The Ark were more than willing to
accommodate. We’re a couple of months in and we’re so happy with how he has settled in. He’s
developed an amazing bond with his Key Person and he’s so happy at drop off which makes it so much
easier to leave him.
The Ark is like a little family. We can’t thank you enough for all you have done and continue to do to
help with the growth and development of our children. We can’t recommend you enough!
Luna absolutely loves her key person Emma and always looks forward to seeing her at nursery- she has built a lovely relationship with her, ever since she first started in the summer. Emma and all the other members of staff at the Ark, always greet us with smiles and joy every morning, making the morning drop off a calm and positive experience. Luna is thriving at nursery and as parents we believe this is down to the dedication of every member of staff, who are clearly devoted to working with young children. We particularly love the fact that each week is themed with different activities, making coming to nursery exciting and fun for Luna, as no day is ever the same. Thank you so much for everything you do everyday.
I cannot recommend The Ark highly enough. They are an amazing team and our little boy is thriving there. Going back to work after maternity leave and the thought of leaving your baby is so daunting, but the whole team put my mind at ease and made the transition so easy.
Our little boy absolutely loves his nursery days and each week we can really see how he is learning and developing so well.
He runs into nursery without giving me a second thought – which shows how comfortable he feels and how much he enjoys it.
His key worker Leah is just the best, and she works with us on areas of development we want to focus on – coming up with ideas for us to do at home, and will always give us detailed updates on things he’s been doing and working on at nursery. His big smile whenever he sees her says it all. I drop him off a happy boy and when I pick him up he’s a tired, happy boy. What more could you ask for.

They took the time to get to know her as an individual including her routines, preferences and personality, making her transition so smooth.
We’ve been so impressed with the variety of activities provided. From creative play and sensory experiences to outdoor time and early learning, everything is thoughtfully planned to support her development. We’ve noticed a huge difference in her social skills, communication, and independence.
The communication from the nursery has also been fantastic. We really appreciate the regular updates, photos, and feedback about her day. It definitely makes us feel connected and reassured that she’s thriving.
Most importantly, it’s obvious how much the staff genuinely care. Their kindness, patience, and dedication make such a difference, and we feel incredibly grateful to have found such a nurturing environment for our daughter.

We are incredibly happy with the care and support our children receive at Ark Day Nursery. One of our children attends under the 30 hours free funding scheme, and we have seen such positive development in their confidence, learning, and social skills. The staff are nurturing, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s well being and progress.
Our other child attends the after-school club, which has also been a fantastic experience. It provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment where they can relax after school, take part in activities, and build friendships. The flexibility and reliability of the service have been a huge support for our family.
The communication from the nursery is always clear and reassuring, and we truly appreciate the warm, welcoming atmosphere they create every day. We feel confident leaving our children in their care and would highly recommend Ark Day Nursery to other parents.
